Aerospace Machining

Aerospace is the most demanding machining market: tight tolerances, exotic materials and full traceability. Structural parts, engine components, brackets and housings are cut from aluminum, titanium and nickel superalloys like Inconel — the last two are strong, heat-resistant and notoriously hard to machine.

The work favors rigid 5-axis machining centers and mill-turn machines with high-pressure coolant, since parts are complex, single-setup accuracy matters, and titanium and Inconel punish weak machines. Verification on a CMM and documented processes are standard.
