Mission and ownership

The Machine Blue Book is an independent machine and industrial-equipment reference publication owned by Delta Arc, LLC. It publishes machine specifications, directories, market observations, reports, event coverage, decision guidance and source links. It is not the seller, broker, lender, appraiser, installer or service provider for equipment or companies merely described on the site.

Content is labeled by function

ReferenceDurable explanations, specifications, terminology and ownership guidance.
Original researchDated reports with stated methods, evidence boundaries and downloadable supporting material where available.
Editorial coverageReporting, interviews, photography and analysis created by MBB.
Directories and listingsTime-sensitive source records that require verification with the identified company or original listing source.
External publicationsPublic work released by another publisher and linked to its original source.
Commercial materialSponsorship, affiliate relationships, paid placement or market-development work disclosed where it occurs.

Sourcing and attribution

Primary sources first

Manufacturer specifications, official event pages, government agencies, regulators, associations, original company materials and directly observed evidence are preferred when available. Secondary reporting may add context and is credited.

Listings remain time-sensitive

A machine listing or directory entry records the most recent source observed by MBB. Availability, ownership, configuration, location, condition and price can change. Readers must verify those facts with the identified source before relying on them.

Facts, estimates and analysis are different

Observed facts are separated from interpretation. Model-year estimates, category assignments, value ranges and market conclusions are labeled as estimates or analysis when they are not directly confirmed.

Price and valuation language

Published asking prices are not completed-sale prices. Machine-value ranges are research context—not a certified appraisal, purchase offer, lending decision or guarantee. Condition, configuration, location, inspection findings, removal obligations, tooling, controls, service history and market timing can materially change a machine's value.

Independence and material support

MBB does not currently receive compensation from the independent companies listed merely because they appear in a directory or reference page. If a future page includes an affiliate relationship, sponsorship, hosted travel, complimentary registration, product access or paid placement, the material relationship is disclosed with the affected content. Compensation does not purchase a favorable editorial conclusion.

Software and AI-assisted work

MBB may use software and AI-assisted tools to help organize records, classify material, draft working text, transform formats or perform quality checks. A tool is not treated as a factual source. Public claims should be supported by an identified source, a published method, an observed record or clearly labeled analysis. Automation does not remove the obligation to correct a material error.

Updates and corrections

  • Material changes to facts, methods, conclusions or source availability advance the modified date and may receive a visible correction or update note.
  • Minor spelling, formatting, accessibility or navigation changes do not automatically make an older article new.
  • Source links are preserved or replaced with an availability note when a public source moves or disappears.
  • Corrections are evaluated against the best available evidence, not the commercial preference of a company discussed.
  • A correction request should identify the exact URL, disputed statement, supporting source and requested correction.

External publication and reuse

MBB does not republish a publisher's complete article merely because MBB contributed to or was mentioned in it. The press and publications register uses original summaries and links readers to the originating publisher. Copyright, trademarks and third-party media remain subject to their owners' rights and the site's terms.
