Conversational Programming

What is Conversational Programming?

Conversational programming lets an operator create a part program at the machine by answering plain-language prompts (hole pattern, pocket size, thread) instead of writing raw G-code. It speeds up simple and one-off jobs and lowers the skill barrier. Mazatrol, Haas' conversational mode and Okuma's IGF are examples.

For complex 3D work shops still use CAM and G-code, but conversational is fast and productive for prismatic parts on the shop floor.
