Bring the application
Prepare material, thickness, geometry, tolerance, finish, volume, mix, current cycle, changeover and downstream requirements. A meaningful demonstration starts from the work, not the brochure.
Capture the production-ready cost
Add freight, rigging, foundation, utilities, ventilation, gases, guarding, software, tooling, fixtures, consumables, inspection, training, maintenance and ramp time to the equipment price.
Define acceptance before purchase
Write the part, material, quality, cycle, uptime, training and documentation criteria that will establish acceptance. Confirm who owns each test and what happens if the result is missed.
Questions to take to the show
- What exact work proves the equipment fits?
- What is the complete installed and production-ready cost?
- What written acceptance test protects the decision?
Continue the research
Use one working list from registration through follow-up so the trip produces decisions instead of a stack of disconnected brochures.
