What to See at FABTECH 2026

The best agenda follows the production chain—from incoming material and forming through joining, finishing, inspection, software and movement.

See the system, not one machine

A fast machine can still underperform inside a weak process. Look at material handling, programming, tooling, changeover, inspection, maintenance, safety, downstream operations and the data required to keep production moving.

Prioritize live proof

Use the show for what is difficult to evaluate from a brochure: motion, cut quality, arc behavior, changeover, ergonomics, software workflow, operator interaction and integration between systems.

Connect new equipment to installed reality

Ask about power, air, gases, ventilation, floor loading, foundation, rigging, training, service, consumables, software subscriptions and acceptance criteria. MBB's machine and infrastructure references help continue that review after the show.

Questions to take to the show

  • What must be demonstrated live?
  • What complete-cell requirements sit outside the quoted machine?
  • How will the result be measured after installation?
