The published program
FABTECH describes more than 180 expert-led sessions across 12 educational tracks. Current topics include automation and robotics, finishing, forming and fabricating, job-shop operations and production, laser, management, marketing and sales, smart fabrication, stamping, welding, and workforce development.
Choose by decision, not title
Start with a problem: quoting, workforce, robotic adoption, laser process, throughput, quality or management. Read the session description, experience level, timing and speaker background before placing it on the calendar.
Separate free and paid programming
Keynotes and certain panels are published as free to attendees, while conference sessions and workshops use separate pricing. Confirm access for each item rather than assuming the show-floor badge opens every room.
Questions to take to the show
- What decision should this session improve?
- What evidence or example should be brought back to the shop?
- Does the badge include this session?
Continue the research
Use the large-format sessions to frame the industry conversation, then connect the themes to specific technology and supplier questions on the floor.
