Boring

What is Boring?

Boring enlarges and finishes an existing hole to a precise diameter, roundness and straightness using a single-point boring bar — achieving accuracy a drill cannot. Large horizontal boring mills bore big, heavy parts; boring heads do it on machining centers.

It's the go-to for accurate bores, bearing bores and concentric features.
