Use the live source for location
FABTECH publishes the interactive floor plan, exhibitor directory, new-product directory and mobile app. Those tools control current booth positions, rooms and schedule changes. MBB does not reproduce the official map because a copied plan can become both outdated and misleading.
Route by hall and production chain
Group forming and cutting, welding, finishing, automation, inspection, software and handling stops into coherent blocks. When a project spans several areas, follow the material and information flow from incoming stock to completed, verified part.
Put booth numbers everywhere
Every calendar entry and note should contain the hall, booth, contact and purpose. Establish one team meeting point and one end-of-day regroup location. Save critical information outside the app in case battery or connectivity becomes a constraint.
Leave room for what was not on the list
The value of a show includes unexpected systems and conversations. Protect discovery time, but require a quick test: what problem could this solve, what evidence is visible and what follow-up would establish whether it is real?
Questions to take to the show
- Which official tool contains the current booth location?
- Which fixed appointments define the route?
- Where will the team regroup and compare evidence?
Continue the research
Food, recovery, accessibility and basic services belong in the operating plan for three long days on a large show floor.
