Rotary Table

What is Rotary Table?

A rotary table adds a controlled rotary axis to a machine, turning the workpiece around a vertical or horizontal axis for indexing or continuous contouring. Adding one to a 3-axis mill creates a 4th axis; pairing two (or a tilting rotary) enables 5-axis work.

Rotary tables are rated by platter size, clamping torque and indexing accuracy.
