MQL (Minimum Quantity Lubrication)

What is MQL?

MQL (Minimum Quantity Lubrication) delivers a tiny mist of oil to the cutting zone instead of flood coolant — near-dry machining that cuts coolant cost and cleanup and leaves drier chips, popular in aluminum and some cast iron.

It's an alternative to flood and high-pressure coolant where lubrication matters more than heavy chip flushing.
