Arriving through Las Vegas
FABTECH’s first-time guidance identifies Harry Reid International Airport as the typical arrival point and notes access by car, taxi, rideshare, shuttle and Monorail connections around the city. Confirm the exact route to the hotel or venue rather than assuming the Strip and convention center are one destination.
Do not schedule against the best case
A landing time is not an arrival time. Allow for taxiing, baggage, ground transportation, traffic, hotel access, badge pickup and the walk to the first hall. A critical demonstration or supplier meeting should not depend on every connection running perfectly.
Protect credentials and the first route
The official FAQ says physical badges are picked up after arrival at Las Vegas Convention Center. Keep the registration confirmation available offline, verify the registered name and know the correct pickup location once final instructions are published.
Departure-day discipline
Friday’s show floor is currently scheduled to close at 4:00 p.m. A same-day flight requires realistic time for the last hall, baggage retrieval, airport transportation and security. Decide before the trip which final appointments can move and which cannot.
Questions to take to the show
- How much time remains after baggage and ground transportation?
- Can credentials be collected before the first fixed meeting?
- What Friday commitment determines the departure window?
Continue the research
A useful show plan is a sequence of decisions and evidence—not a list of every booth that looks interesting.
