CNC Machine Value Center
Research what a used CNC machine may be worth, why the range moves, what a buyer should budget and what a seller may actually net.
Tell us which machine you are evaluating.
Use the exact manufacturer, model, year and configuration when possible. MBB sends the request by email; no account or CRM profile is created here.
Informational research only—not a USPAP appraisal, offer, loan decision or guarantee of sale price. Privacy.Open published machine records.
Search model specifications and observed asking-price records without providing contact information.
A machine is worth what the current market supports for that exact unit.
A useful CNC machine price guide cannot stop at age or a depreciation percentage. Start with the exact manufacturer, model, year, control, travels, spindle, axis configuration and installed options. Then compare relevant asking-price records and adjust for hours, operating condition, service evidence, tooling, geography, removal burden and current demand.
That produces a defendable working range. It does not produce a guaranteed sale price, appraisal, dealer offer or trade-in number.
Observed asking prices by machine type.
The middle 50% is a research range, not a valuation. It shows where the central half of MBB's published asking-price observations fell after excluding records without a numeric price.

Evidence boundary: asking price is not completed-sale price. The table does not adjust for year, configuration, condition, hours, tooling, location, rigging, commissions, taxes or financing. Open the exact machine records before relying on any range.

Questions answered directly.
Is the Machine Value Center free?
Yes. You can search machine records and submit a machine value request without paying MBB or creating an account.
Is this a formal equipment appraisal?
No. MBB provides informational market research and value context. A formal appraisal requires a qualified appraiser, defined scope and documented inspection standards.
What is the difference between asking price and sale price?
Asking price is a seller's published request. Sale price is the amount documented in a completed transaction. Asking-price evidence is useful, but it does not prove the final negotiated price.
Can depreciation alone determine CNC machine value?
No. Age-based depreciation can provide a baseline, but configuration, condition, hours, options, documentation, removal burden and current demand can move value materially.
What information improves a machine value estimate?
Manufacturer, exact model, serial number, year, control, spindle and axis configuration, hours, options, maintenance records, operating evidence, location and clear photographs all improve the research.
Does MBB buy, sell, finance or broker the machine?
No. MBB is an independent research and reference service. It is not the seller, owner, broker, lender, financial institution or availability authority.
Research the exact machine.
Start with the model record, compare published asking prices, document condition and options, and account for every cost required to make the machine productive.
Price the complete machine—not just its birthday.
Machine value changes with condition, configuration and the cost required to place the equipment into production. These films connect the asking price to those underlying facts.
