Servo Motor

What is Servo Motor?

Servo motors drive a CNC machine's axes and spindle with precise, closed-loop control of position, speed and torque — the encoder feeds actual position back so the control corrects continuously. Servos are what make CNC motion fast and accurate.

AC servos are standard today; their power and response set how hard and fast a machine can cut and move.
