Editorial standards

Useful industrial content must make attribution, commercial context and uncertainty visible. These standards govern the public Machine Blue Book reference library.

Standards we apply

Primary-source preference

Technical definitions and current program facts should begin with the entity responsible for the machine, technology, data program or event.

Visible attribution

Sources appear on the page and in the source register. We do not use a citation to imply that the source endorses our analysis.

Commercial clarity

Machine Blue Book is a Delta Arc, LLC product. Directory, marketplace and inquiry links may support commercial activity; that relationship does not alter the need for factual sourcing.

No capability by label

Brand, model and feature names are discovery fields. Capability requires configuration and operating evidence.

Corrections

Specific, sourced corrections are reviewed and material corrections should update the page review date.

No manufactured consensus

Provider marketing is identified as provider material. Independent interpretation is written in our own words and kept within the evidence.

Brand and event references

Names such as AMT, IMTS and individual manufacturers identify external organizations or their published materials. Unless a page explicitly documents otherwise, reference does not mean sponsorship, partnership, approval or endorsement.
