Independent manufacturing editorial

The machine story does not end at the booth.

Machine Blue Book reports on the equipment, people and practical decisions surrounding a manufacturing event—before the doors open, from the show floor and long after the exhibits move out.

What Machine Blue Book covers

Manufacturing shows are where machines, software, tooling, inspection, automation, material handling and human expertise meet in one place. MBB covers that system as a connected decision—not as a parade of announcements. Reporting can follow a machine from its application and specifications through workholding, measurement, power, facility planning, financing, installation, training, service and eventual resale.

The editorial lens spans CNC and manual machine tools, fabrication and welding, automation and robotics, additive manufacturing, metrology, industrial software and AI, packaging, plastics, construction equipment, medical manufacturing, motorsports production and the supporting companies that keep equipment operating.

Coverage across the full event cycle

01

Before

Factual event pages, attendee planning, verified dates and venue information, technology previews, exhibitor research and the questions a serious buyer should bring to the floor.

02

During

Original photography and video where permitted, machine demonstrations, interviews, field notes and practical reporting on what is materially new, useful or worth further verification.

03

After

Durable recaps, machine and technology explainers, source-linked references, implementation context and updates that remain useful after the show news cycle has passed.

Built for readers making expensive decisions

MBB is organized around the questions that appear before and after a capital-equipment decision: What does the machine actually do? How is one configuration different from another? What else does the shop need? Who installs, moves, powers, finances, services and trains around it? Which claims were demonstrated, and which still need independent verification?

That approach gives an organizer or exhibitor more than a momentary mention. It gives readers a practical path from discovery to research while preserving the publication's ability to ask direct questions and describe limitations.

Early search evidence

Event reporting is already finding the intended audience.

In the Google Search Console 28-day snapshot ending September 27, 2026, several MBB IMTS attendee-planning pages appeared at average positions between 8.1 and 9.5, including floor-plan, parking, registration and travel topics. The same snapshot recorded 9,220 site impressions while the event and machine reference system was still in its early indexing stage.

Search performance changes over time and is not a guarantee of future position, reach or traffic. Figures above are a dated first-party Search Console snapshot, rounded for readability.

For show organizers and press offices

MBB welcomes accurate press releases, media advisories, interview availability, exhibitor introductions, technical briefing invitations and updates to official event facts. When on-site coverage is planned, the media desk may request:

  • Working-media credentials and access to the press room or scheduled briefings.
  • Permission to capture editorial photography and video under the show's published rules.
  • Introductions to technical leaders, application engineers, exhibitors and subject-matter experts.
  • Advance notice of machine demonstrations, product launches and educational sessions.
  • Information about hosted-media travel or lodging programs, when the organizer already offers them.

Access helps reporting; it does not purchase a conclusion. Coverage scope and publication decisions remain with MBB.

For manufacturers and exhibitors

Send the technical story, not a sales script. Useful material includes specifications, application limits, comparison points, representative parts, measurement evidence, service requirements, lead times, installation constraints and access to someone who can answer detailed questions. MBB is most interested in machinery and systems that can be examined in context.

Press & publications

A public register, not a logo wall.

External articles, interviews, citations and coverage are added only after the originating publisher releases them publicly. Each entry links to the publisher, identifies the relationship and uses an original MBB summary rather than copying the source.

Commercial market development

Need a durable OEM, distributor or event partnership?

Editorial access and commercial work are separate. For market-development programs, territory visibility, product education, disclosed sponsorship or research collaboration, use the Machine Blue Book partnership hub.

Editorial independence and disclosure

Machine Blue Book is an independent reference publication and a Delta Arc property. MBB does not accept payment in exchange for favorable conclusions. Complimentary registration, credentials, travel, lodging, product access or other material support does not guarantee coverage and does not control what is published. Material support connected to specific coverage is disclosed where relevant.

Publishing responsibility is identified through the publisher profile and editorial standards and corrections process.

Event names and marks are used descriptively and remain the property of their owners. Photography, recording and interview activity follows organizer, venue and exhibitor rules. Time-sensitive event information is linked back to the official source for verification.
