About SIMTOS 2028
SIMTOS is Korea's largest biennial machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition, held at KINTEX near Seoul. It covers metal cutting, forming, tooling, automation and smart factory systems.
Scale, as published by the organizer: 2026 edition: about 1,300 exhibitors from 35 countries, about 6,000 booths.
Why it matters for machine research
It is the main showcase for Korean builders such as DN Solutions, Hyundai WIA and Hwacheon, alongside foreign suppliers active in Korea.

How to work this show
Bring the part: material, tolerance, volume. Ask for the cycle time on your geometry, the control version and who services the machine in your area.
Before the show, shortlist exhibitors from the official exhibitor list. After it, compare the machines you saw in the MBB machine directory and work out the installed cost with total installed cost.
