Haas Racing · Haas Automation · Ferrari power
Yes: Haas still uses Ferrari power in 2026. The official VF-26 specification names Ferrari's O67/6 1.6-liter turbo V6 hybrid power unit and also lists Ferrari transmission, steering and cockpit instrumentation.
Three names, three different roles
Haas Automation
The CNC machine-tool company founded by Gene Haas and the industrial identity behind the team's origin. Its presence makes Haas the clearest mainstream connection between F1 and the global machining audience.
TGR Haas F1 Team
The Formula 1 constructor. TOYOTA GAZOO Racing became title partner for 2026 and the organizations describe a technical relationship focused on people, product and pipeline.
Ferrari
The 2026 power-unit and named systems supplier. The official Haas specification—not rumor—is the correct source for the relationship.

The independent reference layer connecting the public specification to machining, inspection, purchasing and machine research.

Why the relationship is a manufacturing story
A modern Formula 1 car is a system of in-house design, regulated components, supplier systems and specialist production. Haas must integrate the supplied Ferrari hardware into the VF-26 chassis, cooling, controls, structure and operating procedures. Integration creates its own design, machining, fabrication, inspection and validation workload even when a major assembly comes from another manufacturer.
Ferrari's role also shows why “team” and “engine” search terms should not be treated as synonyms. Ferrari powers its works team, Haas and Cadillac in 2026. Haas uses Ferrari power while also deepening its separate TGR technical partnership. Both facts can be true because they occupy different layers of the program.
What precision actually means here
Precision is not a promotional number. It is compatibility across interfaces: geometry, stiffness, heat, fluids, electronics, software, assembly and service. A supplier-controlled system arrives with defined boundaries. The constructor has to preserve those boundaries while making the complete car work. That depends on current configuration, controlled tooling, inspectable datums, clean assemblies and rapid feedback.
