Equipment directory

Machines, accessories and what connects them.

Reference records read from manufacturer pages and brochures, filed by family, maker and source market, with the accessories that manufacturers list for them. A product listing is not a compatibility claim: it says a maker published the relationship, not that it fits your unit.

  • 91 machine references
  • 44 accessory references
  • 30 captured relationships
  • 21 families

Filter, open the captured fields, shortlist.

Each record shows its source, review date and the fields that depend on configuration. Four machines and four accessories can be selected at once; selections survive filter changes.

Start with the work

The right questions change with the process.

Research starting points, not machine recommendations. Each opens the decision workspace with that process selected.

Mill-turn / multi-tasking · 4 references

Turn and mill in one setup

A research path for parts needing turning and milled features. Reducing setups is an objective, not a measured result for these references.

What the numbers do not prove

The RPM check uses the main turning spindle. It does not describe the milling spindle, simultaneous axes or collision-free clearance.

  • Resolve both spindle ratings, tool interfaces, axis configuration and workholding.
  • Request simulation and a representative part trial for the exact configured machine.

Sawing / stock preparation · 2 references

Prepare stock before the next operation

A starting point for cutting bar or profiles to length. Material, profile and mitre angle must be stated.

What the numbers do not prove

These numeric checks use rectangular capacity at 90 degrees. Width and height maxima do not establish capacity at another angle or production rate.

  • Confirm the stock profile, cutting angle, blade and feed strategy together.
  • Review support rollers, length stop, minimum remnant and safe material handling.

Gear hobbing · 1 references

Start with the gear geometry

Explore hobbing references only after identifying gear type, module, tooth count, helix and quality target.

What the numbers do not prove

Diameter is just one screening field. Optional diameter, module and axial-stroke configurations are not combined into a fictitious maximum machine.

  • Obtain the exact module, hob, workholding, gear geometry and configuration limits.
  • Define the required inspection method, quality acceptance and finishing route.

Small-hole EDM · 5 references

Research small-hole electrical discharge machining

A distinct EDM process. Electrode size and workpiece properties matter more than travel alone.

What the numbers do not prove

Axis travel is not proven hole depth, aspect ratio, diameter capability or accuracy. Some records contain family-summary travels only.

  • Confirm electrode range, guide, workpiece material, hole depth and flushing requirements.
  • Request a representative hole trial and verify feeder capacity for the selected electrode.

Resin 3D printing · 0 references

Plan the whole resin-printing workflow

Investigate resin printing for an application with defined material and finished-part requirements.

What the numbers do not prove

Nominal build volume is not guaranteed finished-part size. Support, orientation, extraction, washing and curing can impose smaller limits. A medical-sounding model name is not a process approval.

  • Validate resin, supports, orientation, shrinkage and finished-part acceptance.
  • Check extraction and wash/cure capacity separately. Form 4L has 350 mm nominal build height; the captured Wash L reference allows 296 mm maximum part height. No automatic workflow-fit test is performed.

Filament 3D printing · 0 references

Match the polymer and the print process

A research starting point for filament-based fixtures, prototypes or other parts with defined service requirements.

What the numbers do not prove

Build volume does not establish strength, dimensional accuracy, material compatibility or throughput. The captured Prusa FAQ generations are not newer Plus or Gen2 machines.

  • Confirm material, nozzle, chamber, orientation and support requirements.
  • Verify exact generation, toolhead count, post-processing and part acceptance evidence.
