About this film

The machine is bought. It is also somewhere else.

Bronto follows the freight, rigging and installation questions between the price tag and the first useful part. A lorry is not a long-term production strategy.

Example assumptions

Invented budget: $4,000 freight +$3,000 rigging +$8,000 installation =$15,000 additional cost. Not a market estimate. Site access, floor/foundation, electrical and safety must be checked by appropriate professionals and OEM instructions.

Educational boundary

General educational information only, not an offer of financing, a recommendation to borrow, or individual financial, tax, legal, engineering or safety advice. All dollar amounts are USD. Bob, the finance representative and their situations are fictional. Numerical examples are hypothetical, not current offers, market benchmarks, normal rates, quotes or promises of approval or return. Eligibility, terms, fees, tax treatment, ownership rights and laws depend on the actual agreement, jurisdiction and circumstances. MBB is an independent information resource, not a law firm, and is not acting as your lender, broker, attorney, accountant, financial adviser or site engineer. Consult appropriately qualified professionals and read the actual written terms before deciding. Commercial equipment credit does not automatically receive consumer mortgage protections.

An MBB Explains short, narrated by Bronto. Fictional illustrations turn machinery questions into something a little easier to understand.

Independent machinery knowledge. Understand the numbers before deciding.

Bob bought a hundred thousand dollar machine. It is somewhere else. Getting it here, through the door and working is a separate exercise in spending money. Freight moves it. A rigging crew unloads and positions it. Installation may need power, air, foundations, levelling and commissioning. The quote may include some of that. May is the important word. For illustration, four thousand in freight, three in rigging and eight in installation add fifteen thousand before other startup costs. These are sample figures, not market quotes. Written scopes and a site survey establish requirements before delivery. Confirm unloading, insurance responsibilities and delay costs. A machine stranded on a lorry is an expensive garden ornament. Budget the journey to production. Explore ownership planning at Machine Blue Book, then confirm your site with qualified professionals. General education, not individual advice.
