Market-data and seller-source disclosure
The Machine Blue Book publishes independent machine research and public market observations. It does not sell the third-party machines described in source records.
What a source record means
A source record means that MBB observed information on the cited public source when the record was last checked. It does not mean MBB verified legal ownership, authority to sell, physical possession, operating condition, serial number, liens, price or continuing availability.
Seller and buyer verification
Users must contact the originating seller and independently verify identity, title, machine location, serial number, specifications, options, condition, inspection results, taxes, freight, payment terms and availability. The source link is the controlling path for any inquiry.
Machine information
MBB may combine source-specific facts with model-level specifications, valuation context and independent research. Model specifications describe the machine family and may not match the exact configuration of an observed unit.
Listing images
MBB does not publicly serve local copies of third-party seller-listing photographs on source-record pages. Review the originating source for current imagery. Rights holders may request attribution, correction or content review through the dedicated content-review path.
Corrections, status changes and provenance
Each record carries a source, source identifier where available, and last-checked date. Sellers, owners and rights holders may request a correction, status update, attribution update or content review through the MBB contact page. Historical records may remain available as market evidence after a source listing closes, but they will be labeled as historical when known.
Use the right evidence for the question
An asking price, historical source record, confirmed sale, estimate, offer and appraisal are different forms of evidence. The Machine Market Evidence Glossary explains what each can—and cannot—establish before you compare machines or make a transaction decision.
