Good machine media does not make a machine look newer than it is. It makes the exact machine easier to understand, compare and verify.
Wide viewsAll sides, control, loading and facility access
DetailData plates, hours, spindle, table, options and exceptions
VideoDate, power-on state, motion, sound and disclosed limits
RightsOriginal or authorized media with preserved provenance
Capture identity and context
Photograph the full machine, data plate, control, serial information, electrical plate, major options and surrounding access. Keep sensitive shop information out of frame and do not publish customer work or screens without permission.
Show condition honestly
Include table, spindle taper, way covers, enclosure, chip system, coolant area, cabinet, leaks, repairs, damage and known exceptions. Cleaning improves readability; retouching away defects destroys trust.
Record a structured video
Begin with a dated identification card, then show startup state, control, alarms, axis movement, spindle sound at stated speeds, tool change, probing or rotary function when applicable and a cut only when authorized and safe.
Name files for retrieval
Use year, manufacturer, model, serial fragment, view and date. Preserve originals and record who created them. The published set can be optimized for web delivery while the full-resolution evidence remains available for qualified review.
