Is the control on that machine still supported?

A machine can run for decades, but its control decides how easy parts, repair and software help will be. This page lists what control makers have published about phasing out their hardware, with the date and a link to their own page.

How to read it. Siemens marks each part with a status: PM400 phase-out started, PM410 sold only as a spare part, PM490 discontinued and in its final support phase, PM500 end of lifecycle. A discontinued control still runs; it means parts come from stock, exchange units or repair shops, and a retrofit may be the long-term plan. Several makers publish only a general lifetime-support promise, listed here as a policy.
